Lately, i have been putting these stickers everywhere not just because its my work but to talk about diversity , love and simplicity in that simple looking sticker.

The Owl

This project focuses the element of contradiction and culture twist revolving this interesting animal , the Owl.
Through history owl were pointed with complete extreme names or symbols such as Death or Bad luck or mystique or even Wisdom.
Arabs and middle eastern have seen this animal as the the mystique and a sign of bad omen. On the other hand, westerns take it as a symbol of wisdom.
thus having an illustration with both references, the arabic calligraphy and crown, might show the inconsistency or contradiction.

Street-art On the Lively Roads of Adliya , using illustrations on papers and paste glue.

The Dreamer - الحالم -

Merging styles and focusing on cultural elements is a new approach to where i see my artwork heading to,

while practicing i see a clear vision of what i want to do concept and material-wise, involving street-art with pop-art , like pasting some illustrations or painting something illustrative as graffiti that has a message.

This is a new quick illustration i made prints of 

its called The Dreamer or in arabic ,  { الحالم } :

Working now to put some pieces together for a small book of various work called 

Book of Travel and people.

i believe that the process would take about 3-4 weeks of collecting materials and trying to boost it more landscape and cityscape .

Colorful Manama Exhibition Preparation

Colorful Manama is an outdoor exhibition that would take place this week on Wednesday outside Alriwaq Gallery , in adlyiah area . about 20 artists did join the list , click > here < for info 

This is one of the illustrations that turned to posters and be pasted soon enough on walls and constructions in the area.

عشقت البحر لخيره

This is a new illustration which says : عشقت البحر لخيره
which means  I Loved The Sea for its Goodness.
It can be seen not just an artist perspective but also political, because bahrain here is an island
and most of its activities were linked to the sea. but now since the sea is dying this statement could be thought of .

The piece is made out of ink on paper.
been printing it and pasting it around here, mostly in Juffair area, in Bahrain.

At the minute i have 150 stickers remaining of the 200 and they are running out quicker than i thought.

this weekend ill record a short movie for a trading process with artists from around the world showing the packing for my stickers.

Jamming with ZULS

Last night i met one of the most promising talented artist I've seen in bahrain.
He Call Himself " Zuls " pronounced like Zues . his style is manga and comic based
and have an awesome skill at highlighting and drawing awesome shading.

He just Joined the Crew " Mythicolo-G" recently .

Just stay tuned for more of his awesome work.

For now i leave you with our collaborative work from last night. the idea was for us both to make diffrent characters on two pieces of papers and switch every 5-10 mins to add on the other drawing. so at the end both illustrations would have common touches .

lately i've been working on refining my style and being more selective with my materials.

I chose to research and use history elements, as well as translate their concept to the way i perceive them.

I like how beliefs and religion give knowledge i n different fields  and enlightenment is a unique concept.
